One word, all lowercase

Write the name as crowdsourcedtech, including at the start of a sentence and in titles. The square period belongs to the logo, not the name, so leave it out of running text. The website is crowdsourcedtech.com.

The c. mark

For small spaces: app icons, favicons and profile pictures. It stands in for the wordmark, so the two never appear side by side.

Give it room and leave it as it is

• Clear space.

  Keep empty space around the logo at least as tall as its lowercase letters. Nothing else should sit inside it.

• Minimum size.

  The wordmark should be at least 96 pixels or 20 millimetres wide. The c. tile works down to 16 pixels.

• Background.

  Use the dark version on dark backgrounds and the light version on light ones. Avoid busy photos behind it.

• Things to avoid.

  Don't recolour the letters or the square, round the square, stretch or rotate the logo, add shadows or outlines, or retype the name in another font.

Ink, paper and one blue square

The palette is neutral. The blue is the only accent and belongs to the square: the period, the cursor, required marks. It is never a background or a button. Select a swatch to copy its value.

Many small squares become one

On each page load the wordmark starts under a bar of squares the size of its period. They clear from the left towards the period until only the period is left. On the home page, a crowd of squares fills in a large c at the same moment.
